Mel C is 'optimistic' to celebrate 30 years of 'Spice Girls'

Melanie or Mel C has expressed her excitement as her popular band "Spice Girls" will be marking its 30th anniversary this year.
Formed in 1994, the iconic rock group consisted of five member including Melaine, Victoria Beckham, Emma Buton, Geri Halliwell and Mel B.
The 52-year-old singer is super excited and have insisted to plan something special with the girls to celebrate the special occasion.
While speaking on The Rebecca Judd Show on Apple Music 1, the artist revealed that she has also taken bandmate Emma on-board with the plan.
Melanie added, "Okay, we're closer in that Emma's rooting for it too!"
She continued, "You know what, I'm not going to throw anybody under the bus. We all are so proud, of course we are, of our legacy. It's amazing.
C thinks that this is their legacy and it needs to be celebrated in some way or the other in 2026.
Mel also known as "Sporty Spice" stated, "And it is 30 years and we do have to celebrate that in some way this year. I'm always optimistic."
Spice Girls was one of the most popular girl bands in the 90s. The band was known to be the best-selling girl group of all time, selling 100 million records globally.
