MQM rejects ‘allegations’ of arms recovery
KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has demanded of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, interior minister, DG Rangers and army chief to take notice of what it described as baseless allegations about recovery of Indian-made arms from one of its offices during a raid.

In a statement, the MQM said that the fabricated story about recovery of Indian-arms was a part of a campaign to malign and vilify the party.

It said that similar efforts were also made in the past to prove the MQM an anti-Pakistan party by presenting fabricated maps of Jinnahpur.

The statement rejected all the allegations and noted that the MQM was a patriotic party.
