Colorful puppet show enthralls children
ISLAMABAD: Children from various educational institutions of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad were enthralled here on Saturday with the performance of puppets organized here at National Art Gallery (NAG).

The event was arranged on environment, health, education and social issues in collaboration with the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage and Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA).
With the movement of puppets, the show depicted folk tales and skits in an entertaining way and showed a concern over pollution and maintaining cleanliness in the surroundings to educate children for protecting the environment of the earth.

The puppet show by PNCA is a regular feature of the council presented by National Puppet Theater while the council has announced to hold this puppet show on first and last Saturday of every month at 4.00 pm.

An official from PNCA said, "Puppet show was a skill that guided the students about various social problems with informative visuals in form of stories, songs, dances and tableaux as movement of puppets in colorful costumes left a healthy message in their minds". (APP)
