ISLAMABAD: The federal government has extended Eid-ul-Azha holidays for an additional day. Holidays will now be observed from October 15 to 18.
The initial announcement of Eid-ul-Azha holidays being observed from October 15 to 17 received criticism from people who complained that they would not be able to travel to their hometowns and could not offer their sacrifice on the third day.
With the announcement of Friday as an additional holiday, government offices in the country will now reopen on Monday (October 21).
