KARACHI: Five kilograms of heroin were recovered from a London-bound Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight.
According to Customs officials, action was taken after the Customs Drug Enforcement received information of drugs being smuggled onboard PK-787. The heroin was recovered from the bathroom of the aircraft.
The cost of the heroin seized would amount to Rs 50 million in the international market.
