LAHORE: The second edition of the Twenty 20 Blind Cricket World Cup will be held in November 2016 with the participation of ten full member countries in the event.
This was decided in the 16th Annual General Meeting of the World Blind Cricket (WBC) hosted by the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) here late Sunday which was presided by Syed Sultan Shah, President WBC said a press release issued here.
It was also decided in the meeting that the fourth edition of WBC One day World Cup Cricket for the Blind will take place in Cape Town South Africa in November 2014.
WBC also called for expression of interest from member countries to host the fifth One day World Cup of Blind Cricket in 2018.
WBC awarded the sixth One day World Cup of Blind Cricket to Australia in 2022.
In the meeting WBC also adopted the new Pakistan manufactured Cricket Ball as WBC Blind Cricket Ball. WBC also approved the amendments made in the constitution of WBC. (APP)
