Police said owing to security reasons, the hearing of case would be held in district jail.
Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Kandhkot judge Mushtaq Ahmed Laghari will hear the case.
The Kandhkot court will start conducting the trial on November 30.
Wali Babar was shot dead in Liaquatabad Karachi in January 2011, when he was returning home from work.
