Courteney Cox and David Arquette are proud parents as their daughter, Coco Riley Arquette, turns 22.

On Saturday, June 13, the Friends star and her former husband celebrated their only child’s 22nd birthday with individual birthday wishes on Instagram.

“Happy birthday Co,” Cox, 61, began. “You are such a wise soul. Funniest person I know and my life teacher.”

Along with an “I love you,” the Golden Globe winner added three lemon emojis — an inside joke between the mother and daughter, possibly.

Cox also shared two pictures of her and Co, one more recent and the other a throwback from a beach trip over a decade ago.

Meanwhile, Arquette shared three pictures, including a black-and-white picture of him holding Coco as a baby.

He let the photo memories take the spotlight in his wish, adding only heart emojis in the caption.

Coco replied in the comments, “I love you so much!”

Cox and Arquette, 54, met in 1996 while filming the first Scream movie, where their on-screen romance transitioned into real life. They welcomed their daughter Coco — a combination of Courteney Cox’s first and last name combined — in 2010. Though they separated in 2010, with their divorce being finalised in 2012, the former couple maintained a friendly relationship and were committed to co-parenting Coco.

“He’s my best friend,” Cox told People magazine in 2012. “No matter what happens in our future, he’s my very best friend.”

Coco is also loved by her godmother, Jennifer Aniston, who is Cox’s former Friend’s co-star.

Other celebrities who showered Coco with love on her special day were Reese Witherspoon, Isla Fisher, Rita Wilson, and more.
