Eminem's daughter Alaina's 'heart is breaking' as maternity leave ends

Eminem’s daughter Alaina Marie Scott is savouring every last moment with her newborn as she returns to work for the first time since giving birth.
On Sunday, June 14, the rapper’s adopted daughter took to Instagram to reflect on motherhood and the emotional milestone of ending her maternity leave two months after welcoming daughter Scottie with husband Matt Moeller.
“Two months of watching the world slow down and speed up all at once. Two months of tiny fingers wrapped around mine, sleepy snuggles, middle of the night feeds, and falling more in love than I ever knew was possible,” Scott ,33, captioned the post, which was accompanied by a photoshoot with her newborn.
“Scottie, my honey girl, you have made every ordinary moment feel extraordinary,” the doting mom continued. “Tomorrow I’ll be going back to work and my heart is breaking and bursting all at the same time. Breaking because I know how precious these moments truly are. Knowing that one day I’ll rock you to sleep for the last time and not even realize it. I find myself staring at you, trying to memorize every detail because I know I’ll never get this exact version of you back.”
At the same time, she expressed gratitude for becoming a mother and shared the lesson she hopes Scottie will carry with her.
“I hope that as you grow, you see that women don’t have to choose between building a career and building a family, if they choose either at all,” she wrote.
Reflecting on the past two months, Scott described the experience as “a privilege,” adding, “Time with you will never feel like enough, my true heaven on earth.”
Alaina is the biological daughter of Dawn Scott, the sister of Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Scott. Eminem and Kim adopted Alaina in the early 2000s as Dawn struggled with substance abuse before her death in 2016.
