Ed Sheeran and Martin Garrix made a quick stop at fans’ wedding after wrapping up a show over the weekend.
The singer-songwriter teamed up with DJ Martin Garrix to surprise a fan who was unable to attend Garrix’s show on Saturday, June 27, because it was her wedding that same day.
The brother of the bride reached out to Garrix to ask if he could drop by after the show, which took place right next to the wedding venue.

“Martin did a show, I did a show, we finished,” Sheeran said in an Instagram video. “He’s got a DM from someone saying, can you crash my sister’s wedding?” he explained. “So we’re going to go crash the wedding.”
The duo then headed over to the Chicago Planetarium, surprising the happy couple and their guests.
Garrix walked up to the DJ booth and Sheeran picked up a mic as they performed their 2014 song, Repeat It.
The wedding immediately transformed into a concert as guests waved their glowsticks and danced along to the performance. At one point, Sheeran hugged the bride and joined the crowd in dancing.
