Joe Alwyn finds ‘true love' after Taylor Swift's messy split

Joe Alwyn may have quietly turned the page on his love life.

The Conversations with Friends actor is reportedly dating actress Sarah Pidgeon, and while they are keeping things far from the spotlight, insiders say the romance is already off to a promising start.

“They met at an industry event and were introduced around awards season this year,” a source told Us Weekly. “They are casually dating and are really into each other.”

According to the insider, the relationship is “still pretty new,” with the pair enjoying “lowkey dates in NYC for a few months now trying to keep things under the radar.”

“Both Sarah and Joe are very intellectual, private and laid-back people, so it feels like a really compatible match,” the source added. “They share similar personalities and enjoy spending time together away from the spotlight.”

Romance rumours kicked into high gear earlier this month after the two were spotted together in Brooklyn.

Days later, photos obtained by Page Six appeared to show the couple sharing kisses and cuddling over drinks, giving fans plenty to talk about.

Pidgeon has largely kept her personal life out of public view, while Alwyn’s previous relationship with Taylor Swift made headlines for years before ending in 2023.

Reflecting on that breakup last year, Alwyn said, “I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years.”

He also acknowledged the challenges of navigating heartbreak in the public eye, adding, “I’m sure you can appreciate... why I wouldn’t want to just open the door to things like that right now. I try and live in reality... and try and just stay in the moment.”

For now, it looks like that’s exactly where his focus is.
