Jennifer Lopez embraces new beginning after Ben Affleck split

Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 57th birthday with a simple message that quickly caught her fans' attention.

The singer and actress never mentioned Ben Affleck, but many believe her words reflected how much her life has changed since their divorce.

Jennifer shared a short video of herself smiling during a car ride on social media.

The clip featured a speech inspired by Theodore Roosevelt's famous "Man in the Arena" address about staying strong through difficult times and ignoring criticism.

Along with the video, Lopez wrote, “When you keep going it just keeps getting better."

Her post, however, came almost two years after she and Affleck ended their marriage.

Jennifer filed for divorce in August 2024, and it was officially finalised in January 2025.

The birthday celebrations did not end there as she also spent time in Paris with her sister, Lynda Lopez and shared photos from their trip.

She posted pictures of the sisters enjoying desserts, sightseeing and celebrating together.

Calling it a double birthday trip, she wished Lynda a happy birthday and said travelling with her is "always a good idea."

In recent months, the Office Romance actress also talked openly about this stage of her life.

During a television interview earlier this year, she said she feels happy, enjoys her independence and sees this time as a chance to grow.

Although Lopez and Affleck have been seen together at family events involving their children, neither has hinted at getting back together.

Instead, both have continued focusing on their own lives and careers.
