Julia Roberts celebrates niece Emma Roberts' wedding to Cody John

Julia Roberts wasn’t going to miss her niece Emma Roberts’ wedding day!

On Sunday, July 26, the Oscar-winning actress attended the Scream Queens alum's wedding to her longtime partner Cody John in Idaho. In photographs obtained by Page Six, the Pretty Woman star was spotted joining close friends and family as Emma, 35, and John, 36, officially tied the knot after nearly three years together.

Emma — who is the estranged daughter of Julia’s famous brother Eric Roberts — walked down the aisle in a flowing custom Monique Lhuillier wedding gown, paired with a sheer shawl and a long veil. Later in the evening, she changed into an archival Monique Lhuillier dress for the after-party, while John opted for a brown suit for the ceremony.

The wedding comes almost two years after the couple announced their engagement on Instagram in 2024. Sharing a smiling photo with her diamond ring on display, Emma joked, “Putting this here before my mom tells everyone.”

The newlyweds were first linked in 2022 after John shared a photo of them kissing on Instagram. 

Emma later made their relationship Instagram official on New Year’s Eve that year, posting a photo of them holding hands and writing, “#2022 I loved you… happy new year hotties!”
