Meghan Markle has given fans a rare look into her family’s summer moments with Prince Harry and their two children, sharing a collection of personal photographs from their recent travels and time spent together.
The Duchess of Sussex posted a series of images from the family’s “summer holiday”, featuring scenes from a sun-filled getaway in Portugal, countryside moments and a meaningful visit to Althorp, the childhood home of Princess Diana.
One photograph showed Meghan relaxing on a lounger alongside the family’s beagle Mia, believed to have been taken at the Sussexes’ Montecito home in California.
Followers noticed details in the image that appeared consistent with the couple’s outdoor space, including paving similar to the area around their swimming pool.
However, it was the blurred figures in the background that caught attention.
A grey-haired person visible in the distance has led some royal watchers to speculate that it could be Charles Spencer, Prince Harry’s uncle and the brother of the late Princess Diana.
A second figure, a woman with long hair, has also prompted speculation, with some suggesting it may be Professor Cat Jarman, who married Charles Spencer earlier this year.
If the speculation is correct, it would mark the first reported visit from one of Harry’s relatives to the Sussexes’ Montecito home since they moved there six years ago.
The holiday album also included a deeply personal family moment at Althorp, where Harry and Meghan visited Princess Diana’s final resting place.
In the photographs, the couple’s children were seen carrying large bouquets, believed to have been intended as a tribute to their late grandmother, whose grave is located on an island in the estate’s Oval Lake.
