Shania Twain recalls discussing work-life balance with Taylor Swift

Shania Twain is a career-oriented woman in a demanding industry, but she also has managed to build a family simultaneously and can now impart her wisdom to other female artists in the same boat.

During a new interview, the 60-year-old country star shared how she tries to help younger women make decisions like marriage, and kids.

"I've been lucky in having some nice one-on-one chats with some of the younger girls in the industry like Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift, and talking about the difficulties of balancing a career and making life choices," Twain said. 

She noted that decisions like "when to become a mother, and when to get married," become even more complicated when you add fame to the mix and "that's a whole another factor that the average person doesn't have so it is difficult to be a career woman and also to want a kid, and so those are the conversations that we have."

The You're Still The One hitmaker continued, "It's nice to be able to share from my experiences and how I managed it especially when my son was young. It's a lot of planning, and that's what I always say: to plan."

While Carpenter has yet to take a big life decision as such, Swift recently got married to Travis Kelce, and she might have had a few conversations with Twain. 

Although the Canadian singer was invited to the wedding, she previously revealed that she couldn't attend due to a concert with Harry Styles on the same date.
