Rebecca Ferguson has shared an update that may disappoint many Dune fans.

The 42-year-old actress confirmed that Lady Jessica only appears in one scene in Dune: Part Three, making her role much smaller than many were expecting.

While speaking to Extra TV at San Diego Comic Con, Ferguson said the only scene she has in the movie is the same one fans have already seen in the trailer.

That means viewers should not expect to see much more of Lady Jessica when the film hits cinemas.

The actress earlier talked about this before as well where she revealed that Lady Jessica was not even in the first version of the script.

Later, director Denis Villeneuve decided to add one scene, giving the character a short return.

Ferguson, however, admitted that it felt a little strange to return to the Dune set after playing such a big part in the first two films, only to have a very small role this time.

Her smaller part follows the story of Dune Messiah, the book that Part Three is based on.

The story moves ahead some years and mostly follows Paul Atreides after he becomes Emperor, leaving Lady Jessica with only short appearance.

Even though Ferguson got little screen time, the film still brings back Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Javier Bardem, Anya Taylor Joy and Jason Momoa.

Dune: Part Three is set to arrive in cinemas on December 18, the same day as Avengers: Doomsday.
