Hugh Grosvenor, the 7th Duke of Westminster and godfather to Prince George and Prince Archie, marked a cherished family milestone with his wife Olivia Henson in a private celebration.
A close friend of both Prince William and Prince Harry, Grosvenor interrupted the Prince and Princess of Wales’ summer break to celebrate their daughter Cosima, who turned one on 27 July 2026.
The couple quietly commemorated their first year as parents with a heartfelt first birthday party for their little girl.
Born into one of Britain's wealthiest families in the Summer 2025, Cosima Florence Grosvenor's future inheritance has become a subject of interest.
The new parents shared their pleasure with the world, saying: "The Duke and Duchess of Westminster are thrilled to announce the birth of their baby daughter."
The statement continued: "Both the Duchess and Cosima are doing well. The Duke and Duchess now look forward to spending this special time together as a family."
Hugh and Olivia tied the knot on 7 June 2024 at Chester Cathedral in Cheshire, with several royals in attendance.
The future British monarc, Prince William, took on the special role of usher during the ceremony, while Princess Eugenie was among the high-profile attendees. However, Prince Harry did not attend the ceremony.
Worth more than £10 billion, Hugh was one of the most eligible bachelors thanks to his extensive property portfolio, which includes 50 per cent of Mayfair and 300 acres of Belgravia.
