Zendaya made a fan’s day who attempted to recreate her stunning backless dress amid Spider-Man: Brand New Day promotions.
During a fan event / photocall for the upcoming movie at the Shanghai Film Art Center, the Dune star spotted a fan wearing a dress strikingly similar to the one she had previously worn for an event.
Instead of simply walking by, she expressed excitement and stopped to praise the fan. A fan-captured video filmed Zendaya, donning a black outfit with short curly hair, complimenting a fan wearing a sparkly backless dress then goes over take photos with her.
The moment went viral for showing how sweet and approachable she was.
The Euphoria actress smiled as she complimented the fan's outfit, posed for several photos with her, and even encouraged her to turn around so everyone could admire the dress's standout feature, its intricate spiderweb-inspired back.
Fans quickly flooded social media with praise for the actress' genuine interaction.
"SHE IS SO PRECIOUS, MY GOD! I'M GOING TO MISS THIS," one fan wrote.
Another commented, "Imagine Zendaya complimenting your outfit."
A third summed up the mood online, writing, "Pure kindness. No ego, just good vibes."
For the unversed, the dress was from the Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour stop in London.
Zendaya wore an archival midnight-blue John Galliano dress from his Spring/Summer 1997 "Circus" collection.
The back of the open-gowns featured a delicate sterling-silver chain framework styled into an intricate spiderweb draped with mixed-metal charms and a diamond-encrusted spider.
The front was a dark, celestial-printed slip gown with ruffled tiers and subtle gold star-and-zodiac accents.
