Benny Blanco announces new song with 'wifey' Selena Gomez and Becky G

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are releasing their first song together as husband and wife.

On Monday, the music producer announced that he has teamed up with his wife and singer Becky G on for a new Spanish song called Te Olivado (La La), set for release this Friday (July 31).

Blanco revealed the news via a brief clip shared on social media, writing, “POV: ur new song with wifey and becky drops in a few days but ur the only one in the world who has the mp3.”

Gomez shared the clip on her own social media, while Becky G commented, “Can’t believe I’m on this song and you haven’t sent me the mp3.”

The upcoming song will mark the second time Gomez, 34, and Blanco, 38, have worked on a music project together after their joint album, I Said I Love You First, was released in March 2025 — months before they tied the knot in September.

Speaking to Rolling Stone ahead of the album’s release, the then-engaged couple revealed what it was like working on music together.

“I was, to be honest, very frustrated and kind of confused on where I wanted to go next musically,” Gomez admitted. “And we had been together for a while, and obviously, I would confide in him.”

Blanco added, “She’d wake up, I’d have a pen out, and I’d write what was on her mind. Then, we’d go into the other room and create it, and it became a song. It was such a cathartic and therapeutic experience.”
