India win toss, bat first in 1st Test
JOHANNESBURG: India have won the toss and elected to bat first in the first of the 2-Test series at the New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.

India are going in with three seamers and a spinner as Ajinkya Rahane and Zaheer Khan come into the XI.

The Indian skipper MS Dhoni has said that it looks like a good wicket and it is important for the batsmen to spend time on the wicket and get themselves set.

South African captain Graeme Smith also wanted to bat first but was hopeful that his bowlers would be able to execute the plan.
