Jennifer Aniston, Jim Curtis romance hits major road block

Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis may have found happiness together, but their next big relationship decision is not about romance–it’s about where their future actually lives.

As per Closer magazine, the couple’s biggest challenge is balancing Aniston’s deep California roots with Curtis’ lifelong connection to New York.

While their relationship remains strong, Jim’s attachment to the East Coast has reportedly raised memories of Aniston’s past marriage to Justin Theroux.

During her relationship with Theroux, the actress tried to split her time between Los Angeles and New York, but insiders claim the city lifestyle became difficult for her.

“When she met Justin, he was totally all in on living in California full-time, and then that shifted and he started to constantly complain about missing the East Coast, to the point where Jen even bought an apartment in Manhattan to try and make it work,” a source said.

“But as everyone knows, that was a total disaster. She couldn’t cope with the lack of privacy there and the intensity of everything, and most people in her life would agree that was one of their core issues.”

Now, with Curtis–a longtime New Yorker who built his career and family life there–Aniston is facing a familiar crossroads.

Despite the concerns, insiders say Jim Curtis brings a grounding presence to her life, and the pair are focused on finding middle ground rather than walking away.

“Jim keeps telling Jen there’s no rush to make any huge decisions, and that they’ll figure it out together. They’re going to have to find a compromise, perhaps a base in upstate and weekend trips to the city. The good news is that neither of them sees this as a dealbreaker. They're still very much in love and committed to finding their way through this, even if it means a lot of time spent flying back and forth.”

For Aniston, this chapter is not about choosing a coast–it’s about choosing a future that works.
