Miley Cyrus, SZA, Tame Impala to headline Coachella 2027?

The Coachella 2027 rumour mill is already heating up, and three different musical worlds could collide in the California desert.

Miley Cyrus, SZA and Tame Impala are being tipped in online speculation as potential headliners for next year's festival.

There is no official confirmation from Coachella yet, but the names have been circulating among fans as they look ahead to the festival's next edition.

The speculation comes after a particularly headline-heavy Coachella 2026, which was led by Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G across the festival's two weekends in Indio, California.

And if the rumoured 2027 trio does eventually become reality, each artist would arrive with a new chapter behind them.

Miley Cyrus is already entering another era. Following her 2025 album Something Beautiful, the Flowers hitmaker recently revealed that she is working on her 10th studio album.

Describing the project as a “love story,” she explained that the record reflects where she is emotionally now with love.

SZA, meanwhile, remains one of contemporary R&B's most in-demand performers.

Her most recent full-length project remains SOS Deluxe: LANA, but she has continued appearing on new music.

In April, she joined Isaiah Rashad on BOY IN RED, a track from his 2026 album IT'S BEEN AWFUL.

The All The Stars songstress also made a memorable appearance during Bieber's second Coachella 2026 headlining set, joining him for her hit Snooze.

A full Coachella headline slot, therefore, would take her from surprise guest to the artist commanding the main stage.

Then there's Tame Impala, the project led by Kevin Parker.

Parker's latest album, 2025's Deadbeat, marked another evolution toward electronic and club-influenced territory.

The album produced tracks including End of Summer, Loser and Dracula, with End of Summer earning Parker the 2026 Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording.

And 2026 left some very big shoes to fill. The latest edition set a high bar as the Espresso hitmaker opened the headlining run with, Hollywood-inspired production.

Her set included songs from Man's Best Friend alongside hits such as Espresso, Please Please Please, Juno and Tears.

During Weekend 2, she delivered one of the festival's biggest surprise moments when Madonna appeared onstage.

Bieber followed with a different approach. His roughly 90-minute set mixed songs from his SWAG albums with older hits. 

A memorable portion of the performance turned into an unexpected YouTube nostalgia session featuring songs from his early career.

He also brought out guests including Tems, Wizkid, The Kid LAROI, Mk.gee and Dijon during Weekend 1.
