Taylor Swift may have married an NFL superstar, but she could soon find herself living with a country singer too.
Travis Kelce is reportedly eyeing a future in country music, and insiders claim the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has already been quietly working toward a possible album.
His biggest audition may have come at his own wedding to Swift, where he reportedly performed for their star-studded guest list.
One insider told gossip columnist Rob Shuter that Taylor is “in his corner.”
“Travis believes the sky’s the limit. Now it’s Nashville’s turn to decide if it’s ready for football’s next act…[He] has relentless drive, enormous charisma, and the biggest superstar in music standing beside him.”
The source added, “Travis has been talking about making a country album for months. The wedding performance wasn’t just a fun moment – it was a test run. He was singing in front of the biggest names in music, and he wanted to see how it felt.”
His brother Jason Kelce appears to think Travis has the vocal chops to make the leap.
“Yeah, Travis can sing,” Jason said on the Ross Tucker Football Podcast. “Travis has always been able to carry a tune. Obviously, paled in comparison to some of the other people singing that night, but he did OK.”
Travis has hardly hidden his ambitions beyond football. He once told his managers he wanted to become “as famous as The Rock,” later expanding into podcasting, acting, hosting Saturday Night Live and other entertainment ventures.
For now, football remains his priority as the Chiefs prepare for the new NFL season. But after that? Nashville might have to make room.
Taylor already conquered country before taking over pop. Now her husband may be ready to borrow the cowboy hat.
