Hollyoaks star Adam J Woodward welcomes baby boy

Adam J Woodward has become a father to a baby boy. 

The Hollyoaks star, 34, best known for playing Brody Hudson in the soap, shared the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday, revealing that he has become a father for the first time.

The actor shared adorable pictures of his newborn son, whom he welcomed with his girlfriend, Olivia Weedall. 

The couple's baby boy was born on August 5 and has been named Matthew Rayn Woodward.

'Welcome to the world Matthew Rayn Woodward. 05.08.2026 We love you more than you could ever know,' he captioned the post.

Adam looked every inch the doting father as he carried his baby out of the hospital in a car seat.

Meanwhile, Olivia, who is a freestyle footballer by profession, also shared photos of their newborn on social media. 

Fans and friends quickly rushed to the comments section to congratulate the couple, including Owen Warner, Nikki Anderson and Gary Lucy.

The couple announced Olivia's pregnancy back in March.

The actor was previously in a relationship with his Hollyoaks co-star Sophie Porley, who played Ellie Nightingale.

They ended their two-year romance shortly after the covid pandemic began in 2020.
