Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy has seemingly taken a leaf out of Meghan Markle's book as she shared stunning holiday photos of her two children, giving an insight into fun-filled moments.

The 40-year-old, who date Harry on-and-off for seven years, has offered a rare window into her sun-drenched existence on the island of Mauritius by releasing a photograph of two of her three children.

She captures her eldest son Leo, four, and daughter Chloe, two, dashing along a pontoon towards sparkling turquoise waters.

In the picture, she shared on her official Instagram on Tuesday, young Chloe is seen wearing a denim dress with her blonde hair swept up in a small ponytail, while her older brother Leo cuts a playful figure in a Spider-Man T-shirt paired with black shorts.

The post comes weeks after the Duchess of Sussex shared sun-soaked beach photos of herself and Harry during their UK tour.

The candid snaps captured the Sussexes in an intimate moment abroad, and their reappearance has once again put the spotlight on Meghan's life before stepping back from royal duties.

Chelsy is one of only a handful of occasions on which Chelsy has shared images of her children publicly, having long guarded her family's privacy.

However, following Harry and Meghan's footsteps she did not show the faces of her children.

Chelsy's romance with Harry began in 2004 during the Duke's gap year in Zimbabwe, where Chelsy's millionaire father runs a game reserve. The relationship lasted seven years on an on-and-off basis, with Palace officials noting at the time that the pair had taken to calling one another "hubby" and "wifey."

They parted ways in 2011 owing to conflicting careers and lengthy separations, though they remained amicable. Chelsy was among the guests at Harry's 2018 wedding to Meghan Markle.
