Report cites 842 officials of Sindh Police involved in corruption

KARACHI: A report prepared by the anti-corruption department on Thursday named 842 officers and personnel of Sindh Police involved in misappropriation of money.

The report, which carries names of officials from SSP level to constables, has been sent to the Sindh Police, sources told Geo News.

They said Inspector General (IG) Sindh Police Ghulam Haider Jamali had directed the chairman anti-corruption to prepare a report on corrupt officials in the force.

The IG Sindh will present the report to the Supreme Court in connection with a subjudice case.

The apex court of the country had ordered the IG Sindh to present a list of corrupt officials within his department.
