Blake Lively will only receive $400,000 in legal fees from Justin Baldoni after expecting to get $8 million as part of their settlement.
According to the DailyMail, the Gossip Girl alum faced a setback in her court proceedings on her birthday, as a NewYork judge awarded her only $400,000- just 5 percent of the $8 million she had claimed to recoup for defending herself against Baldoni's $400 million defamation lawsuit.
The judge said that the expenses Lively had claimed were 'unreasonable.'
The court ruling comes months after the same judge threw out most of the claims in Lively's sexual harassment case against her It Ends With Us co-star.
The pair later agreed to settle the case, with no money changing hands.
Despite Lively's difficult time, her husband Ryan Reynolds, made sure to support her and shared a sweet tribute on her birthday.
The actress turned 39th birthday on Wednesday, August 25.
