Brenda Song sends love to Macaulay Culkin as he calls 46th birthday 'tricky'

Brenda Song is celebrating her fiance Macaulay Culkin on his special day, even if he doesn’t feel the same way about it.

As the Home Alone star marked his 46th birthday on Wednesday, August 26, his longtime partner and the mother of his two children took to her Instagram to pay tribute to her “one and only.”

“My best friend, the best papa, my favorite adventure partner, the only person who will play Yahtzee and rewatch physical 100 or squid games with me over and over, the love of my life,” Song, 38, gushed. “I don’t even want to think of what my life would look like without you. I’m so damn grateful you were born today. I love celebrating you,” added the former Disney star.

Meanwhile, Culkin shared a reflective post of his own, admitting that while 46 as a number is not particularly unique or “cool,” his life certainly is.

“46 is tricky. It’s not a cool number. There are so many cooler numbers,” the Richie Rich actor wrote, drawing attention to numbers such as 23 (Michael Jordan’s jersey number), or 99 (Aaron Donald’s jersey number), or even 42 (the “Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything” in Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy).

“46 is an awkward number. It’s so boring. There’s nothing to it. Check the wiki,” Culkin continued, before adding, “But I ain’t bored. This is not nothing. I see the things in front of me. I know I got this. We’ve got this.”

“Shoutout to all us 46 years olds out there,” he continued. “Here’s to the tweeters. The grout. The cracks. The neither here-nor-theres. The in-betweeners. We’re halfway there. Happy birthday, y’all.”

Culkin and Song first met in 2017 while filming Changeland and began dating shortly afterwards, celebrating their 9th anniversary this year on June 18. They welcomed their kids, sons Dakota and Carson, in 2021 and 2022, respectively. The couple got engaged in 2023 and have made several public appearances together.
