Keke Palmer invites backlash after partying with Sean ‘Diddy' Combs' sons

Keke Palmer is losing her admirers after celebrating her latest birthday.

Offering a glimpse into her 33rd birthday bash via an Instagram post on Thursday , August 27, the One Of Them Days actress posted a series of photos.

The 20-slide carousel was led by a photo of the birthday girl posing with disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs son Justin Combs and Christian Combs.

“I’ve known most of these people 4EVER,” she captioned the post. “They still show up for me! So happy spending my birthday with people that believe we deserve to share in happiness with one another.”

The actress and singer continued, “Life is too short not to be in community. I don’t need a reason to celebrate with my folks, but a birthday will always remind you to show grace and gratitude for where you come from and where you’ve been, most importantly who you are today.”

“Thankful to God! Another year,” she concluded.

While many fans flooded the comments with birthday wishes, others criticized her for publicly celebrating with Diddy’s sons.

Some commenters said they were disappointed by the post, while others claimed they had unfollowed her over association with the Combs family.

The backlash comes amid the legal troubles surrounding Diddy. He was convicted in federal court on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and sentenced to 50 months in prison.

Combs is currently serving his sentence while appealing the conviction, and he continues to face separate civil lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct and other wrongdoing, which he has denied.
