Ariana Grande breaks down at final Eternal Sunshine Tour show

Ariana Grande has officially closed the curtain on the Eternal Sunshine Tour — and she had to fight back tears while saying goodbye.

The Grammy winner wrapped her 41-show tour in London on Tuesday, September 1, ending the run with a 10-night residency after stops across the U.S., Montreal and London.

During the final show, Grande got emotional while thanking the fans who helped make the tour so personal.

“This has been one of the most beautiful, extraordinary experiences of my life and I just want to express my gratitude without sobbing completely,” Grande said tearfully.

“But really, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It’s been so special, and I’ll cherish this experience always,” the Wicked star added. “I have the best fans in the entire world, and I always have.”

Grande also gave fans plenty of love for their concert fashion.

“I love your outfits, I love your faces, I love seeing you, I love connecting with you in this way. Thank you for all of your effort for making this so special. All your messages and your costumes and your wardrobe and makeup is just so beautiful,” she said.

“I have loved every minute of this with you all and I just want to make sure I express how grateful I am,” Grande continued, before saying, “Thank you and I love you so much.”

The emotional finale comes after Grande described the tour as “such a beautiful corrective experience,” explaining that she felt more present this time around.

Now, she’s stepping away from the spotlight. Her representative previously said Grande plans to take a “much-deserved break” from public-facing work after the tour.

Her next major project is Focker-in-Law, arriving in theaters November 25.
