Archie, Lilibet first public appearance in UK: ‘new level of excitement'

King Charles’s grandchildren will be making their first ever appearance in public after arriving in Britain with their parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, last week.

The Sussexes are reportedly settled in their Cotswold home and will have their first day at one of the elite schools – which costs around $60k a year – in the vicinity. Ahead of the children arriving at the premises, the unnamed school had issued a letter to parents with some strict guidelines about conduct.

It was reported that the ‘warning’ letter about not taking photos and videos of students. An insider told Woman’s Day that the letter “ruffled a few feathers”, but the excitement is still very much there.

“This is a very elite group of parents who’ve seen A-listers – from the Cowells to the Beckhams – come and go, but getting up close and personal to the King’s mysterious grandkids is a new level of excitement,” the insider explained.

They added that there are some mothers, who are “less than thrilled” as they want their children to have a “normal” upbringing as possible

School is expected to be an environment, where children are able to focus on learning and thrive making friends despite their status in society. The parents believe that instead the “world’s spotlight is going to be on two of their classmates, so it’s a lot for young kids to adapt to”.
