A surprising Hollywood team up takes on a new rom-com

Halle Berry, Zoë Kravitz, Colin Firth and Jack Whitehall are joining forces for a new romantic comedy called Otherwise Engaged.

The story is about Charlie, played by Jack, as he gets ready to marry Gabby, played by Zoë.

But just as the couple prepares for their big day, Charlie’s estranged father suddenly comes back into his life after being released from prison.

Things get even messier when Charlie’s father, played by Colin, falls for Gabby’s mother, played by Halle.

Their unexpected romance soon turns the wedding plans upside down and creates plenty of family drama.

Charlie and Gabby are left dealing with the chaos as their parents begin their own surprising love story.

The film will be directed by Suzanne Farwell, who has worked on films including The Intern and It’s Complicated.

She also wrote the script with Gabriel Mizrahi.

Production is expected to start in New York in March 2027.

With four big stars leading the cast and a wedding caught in the middle of an unexpected family romance, Otherwise Engaged is set to bring plenty of laughs, love and awkward moments.
