Gwen Stefani devastated by loss of longtime companion

Gwen Stefani is heartbroken after losing a beloved member of her family.

The singer has shared the sad news that her dog Betty has died at the age of 18.

Betty had been with Stefani and her family for many years. She was often seen at their home in Oklahoma, enjoying the big ranch and spending time with the family.

Stefani shared many photos and videos of Betty on Instagram. Some showed the dog getting hugs from Blake Shelton and Stefani’s youngest son Apollo.

Other clips showed Betty running around the ranch and enjoying sunny days outside.

Stefani wrote: “It’s with the heaviest hearts that we share our sweet betty has gone to heaven,”

She also shared how much happiness Betty had brought to their lives.

“She made us all smile for 18 years… we're going to miss her forever. thank u betty for all the love + joy u brought into our lives.”

Betty was also part of a special moment in Stefani and Shelton’s relationship. She appeared in their 2019 music video for Nobody But You.

Shelton once joked that Betty had become Stefani’s dog because she loved her so much.

After 18 years together, Betty was clearly a much loved part of their family.
