Maya Jama joins ‘The Gentlemen' after Meghan Markle rumours denied

Maya Jama is coming back to The Gentlemen for season three, according to reports.

The presenter joined the Netflix show in season two and played Aisha, who is married to a man connected to Eddie Horniman, played by Theo James.

Maya is said to have confirmed that she will return while attending the show’s premiere this week.

She has also spoken about working with director Guy Ritchie. Maya said he made her feel comfortable while filming and helped her feel less nervous.

“He doesn't feel as intimidating as you'd think, being who he is.”

Her return comes as fans have also been talking about Meghan Markle and a possible role in the show.

There have been reports that Meghan could appear in season three.

However, some stars of The Gentlemen have said they do not believe the reports.

Vinnie Jones called the story “hot air.”

Theo James also joked about the rumours before saying:

“I think it's a spurious rumour.”

Ray Winstone said it was the first time he had heard about it, while Hugh Bonneville also did not take the story seriously.

Maya even joked: “I’d be the last person to know.”

For now, Maya appears to be the confirmed return fans can look forward to.
