Nicola Peltz reveals her one weakness during emotional 'Rising Star' speech

Nicola Peltz Beckham, the actress, director and writer, has finally received the 'Rising Star' award at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday night while admitting one weakness despite being a celebrity.

The 31-year-old actress was supported by her loving husband, Brooklyn Beckham, her billionaire father, her billionaire businessman father, Nelson Peltz, her mother, Claudia and her brother.

During the major milestone, Peltz Beckham paid tribute to her husband and family, calling them her strongest source of strength.

She said: 'Hi everyone. I am normally more comfortable playing a character as an actor than standing in front of an audience, so please bear with me.

'Thank you so much for this immense honour. To receive an award at the Venice Film Festival is something I will carry with me for the rest of my career.'

Nicola recently wrote, directed and starred in self-funded movie Lola, while her resumé also includes roles in The Last Airbender, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Bates Motel, Holidate, Welcome to Chippendales and The Beauty.

Nicola is being honoured alongside icon Faye Dunaway, who co-stars in her new self-funded film Prima.
