Sabrina Carpenter is officially halfway to one of the entertainment industry’s most exclusive achievements: the EGOT.

The Espresso hitmaker added an Emmy Award to her growing trophy collection on Saturday night, September 5.

At the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys, she earned an Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) Award for The Muppet Show.

The Please Please Please chart-topper was credited as an executive producer and performer on the Disney+ special.

The victory gives her two of the four awards required for an EGOT, an Emmy and Grammys, leaving only an Oscar and Tony to complete the set.

For the unversed, her Grammy era began with Espresso when she picked up her first two Gramophones at the 2025 ceremony, turning the massive success of her Short n' Sweet era into Grammy gold.

Her breakout hit won Best Pop Solo Performance, while sixth studio album took home Best Pop Vocal Album on February 2, 2025, at the 67th Grammy Awards, marking her arrival as a Grammy-winning artist.

Less than two years later came the Emmys, the Saturday Night Live host and musical guest expanded her résumé beyond music.

Her involvement with the Disney+ special, which premiered in February, as an executive producer yielded her first Emmy.

Now she would need to win an Academy Award for a film-related achievement and a competitive Tony for work in Broadway theater to reach the EGOT status.
