Ariana Grande may just have found not only her future husband but also her designated photographer in Ricky Alvarez.
Over the weekend, Alvarez — a photographer and dancer — shared a series of artistic photos he took of the pop icon during her three-month Eternal Sunshine Tour on Instagram, marking the first time he dedicated an entire post for Grande.
“It’s the best thing to do,” Alvarez wrote in the caption, prompting Grande to respond with a teary-eyed emoji.
The post comes days after Grande wrapped her tour with a major hint about where her relationship with Alvarez could be headed.
The couple first dated briefly around 10 years ago before rekindling their romance earlier this summer. Grande confirmed their reunion during the tour when she changed the lyrics to her 2019 hit Thank U, Next.
Instead of singing, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh,” she sang, “Wrote some songs about Ricky, we always find our way back.”
Grande then took the speculation even further during her final show at London’s O2 Arena on September 1.
“Wrote some songs about Ricky / I’m trynna make him my last,” she sang, appearing to hint that Alvarez could be in her long-term plans.
Throughout the tour, Grande has also shared photos taken by Alvarez on Instagram. He has remained close by, attending rehearsals and several shows while documenting the singer behind the scenes.
