Prince Harry broke cover with a surprise visit to a central London podcast studio, his first official appearance since returning to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex's outing comes after King Charles issued a stern letter about the couple's royal roles. The British monarch made it clear Harry and Meghan are not working royals and remain private citizens despite their bombshell move back to the country.

In one of the pictures, Harry is seen signing the wall at Tower Bridge Studios.

The Studios broke the news on its official Instagram account, writing: "Thank you Prince Harry for choosing Tower Bridge Studios! It was an absolute pleasure to have you in our studios and signing our wall.

"We look forward to welcoming your back again."

The central London studio is where several high-profile video podcasts are filmed, including Steven Bartlett's Diary of a CEO and The Big Pitch by comedian Jimmy Carr. It is unclear why he was visiting.
