Inside Kylie Jenner's unfinished $15 Million Italian-inspired mansion

Kylie Jenner is finally showing fans the progress on the sprawling Hidden Hills, California estate she's been building for six years. 

In her first YouTube vlog in a long time, posted Sunday, September 6, the 29-year-old beauty mogul walked her 12.1 million subscribers through the five-acre property, which she purchased as an empty lot for $15 million back in 2020. 

"My beautiful dream Italian home," Jenner said as her camera panned across the exterior stone and windows. 

She explained she hadn't originally planned to document the process but changed her mind since so much of the house had already leaked online anyway.

The tour began outside, where Jenner showed off a reclaimed cobblestone driveway and Mediterranean-style landscaping designed by Jim Hyatt, who also worked on Santa Barbara's famed San Ysidro Ranch.

"So, we kind of copied what he did for them," she said, pointing to lavender plantings and mature olive trees near the entrance, some of which she rescued from sister Kendall Jenner's own construction project nearby. 

"My sister was doing some construction at one of her homes, and she had to get rid of all of these baby olives, and she was like, 'Does anyone want them?' And I said, 'Absolutely.'"

Inside, Jenner showed off reclaimed wood flooring, still-unstained kitchen cabinetry, and marbled tile in a guest bathroom, while comparing plaster color options for the main living areas and a guest bedroom. 

She also toured the basement, where a future gym and spa are planned.

Outside, she detailed additional amenities in the works, including a sports court, a fountain and pizza oven for an outdoor entertaining space, and a rose garden, joking about her motivation for the latter. 

"'Cause I just want to be a princess." Jenner didn't offer a specific completion timeline, saying only, "I've been working on this for so long, and I'm just ready for it to be done. And to move in." 

The property came with approved plans for an 18,000-square-foot main residence, a 12-car garage, guesthouse, barn, sports court and pool when Jenner purchased it, land that had previously belonged to Miley Cyrus and was used as an equestrian property.
