There was a plan. There was a camera. There was a whole lot of joy, but then RAYE and her sisters completely lost the plot.

The Escapism. hitmaker gave fans a chaotic peek behind the scenes of her new Joy. music video, which was released on Monday, September 7.

Shortly after the video was premiered, the singer-songwriter, whose real name is Rachel Agatha Keen, took to her Instagram.

She shared a playful clip alongside a caption that read, “aside from the disrespect in this clip.. [crying emoji] my sisters & i went to collect as many ‘smiles’ in a day for the Joy music video.[sunflower emoji].”

“We hope you feel the same JOY whilst watching. It was a beautiful day. Lots of love, Raye,” she added.

In the dimly lit footage, RAYE, 28, appears alongside her sisters Amma and Absolutely, with the trio seemingly sitting together in a car.

The Worth It songstress takes the centre seat, dressed in a bright yellow outfit, looking ready to deliver a perfectly polished message about their new video.

“We really did that,” she says proudly. “Well done, girls.”

Then Amma immediately cuts through the sweetness with a blunt “Shut up.”

So much for the sentimental sister moment. The record producer quickly gets back into promotional mode, telling viewers, “I hope you felt some joy from our video,” before Amma sweetly replies, “Well done, little one.”

The sisters continue congratulating one another, saying “You did so well,” and “Well done, my beautiful children” while RAYE attempts to finish the job.

“Stream it now,” and “Share it with a friend,” she completes it before everything descends into chaos.

The video offers a much more unfiltered look at the relationship between the sisters and perhaps that's fitting for Joy.
