Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo and Rose might have just celebrated 10 years together, but a new rumour has BLACKPINK's fans concerned.
Could the group's next reunion be its farewell?
A K-pop fan account, KP (@kpoppredictins), has sparked new speculation about the all girls group's future, claiming that two members have allegedly filed a disbandment petition with YG Entertainment.
The account, however, stressed that the information is only a rumour and has not been confirmed by BLACKPINK, YG Entertainment or any of the four members.
According to the post, the two members are speculated to be Jennie and Rosé.
The account further claimed that BLACKPINK could release a farewell mini-album or single before the end of 2026, followed by an announcement regarding the group's possible disbandment.
They further added that Jisoo may have suggested a final mini-tour, while Lisa is allegedly more relaxed about BLACKPINK's future and would be open to group activities as long as they do not interfere with her solo career.
For now, though, there is no verified evidence that any member has filed a disbandment petition.
Notably, the speculation arrives at a particularly emotional moment for BLINKs.
BLACKPINK recently reunited for their Deadline World Tour, bringing all four members back together onstage after spending considerable time developing their individual careers.
Then came another reunion on the group's 10th anniversary.
The milestone appearance generated plenty of emotion among fans, particularly after Jisoo was seen crying while leaving, a moment that inevitably fueled speculation about how meaningful and potentially bittersweet the anniversary reunion was for the members.
Adding another layer to the conversation, Lisa recently suggested in an interview that BLACKPINK could reunite again when the time is right, rather than indicating that group activities are permanently off the table.
That sentiment doesn't exactly sound like a farewell announcement.
So, could BLACKPINK actually disband?
For now, BLINKs may want to hold off on preparing the farewell banners.
