Kim Kardashian raises eyebrows with her latest stunt

Kim Kardashian may have found the one thing capable of starting a sideline argument before the first pitch is even thrown.

Her new Paramount+ reality series, Team Moms: Baseball, hasn’t premiered yet, but its trailer is already being dragged by viewers who think competitive youth sports have gone way too far.

Kardashian serves as an executive producer on the series, which follows families connected to Legendary Preps Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona. 

And judging by the trailer, the parents might be bringing more drama than the kids.

“These families are passionate, competitive, and completely all in when it comes to their kids, and sometimes what happens in the stands is just as intense as what happens on the field,” Kardashian and fellow executive producer Natalie Ento said.

“That’s what makes Team Moms: Baseball so much fun to watch.”

Some viewers, however, appear to be having considerably less fun.

The trailer features parental pressure, arguments, drinking and big dreams about children becoming future baseball stars, prompting one particularly brutal assessment from Yahoo Sports’ Kendall Baker: “I can’t think of a better encapsulation of everything wrong with youth sports than Kim Kardashian turning youth baseball parents into reality TV.”

Another critic called it “the worst thing that could ever happen to the already crazed world of youth sports,” while one viewer simply concluded: “Yeah, youth sports are cooked in this country.”

But not everyone is offended. Some argue the show could be holding up an uncomfortable mirror to the very parents criticizing it.

“The best part of this show, and all the social media comments that it will engender, will be the people that make fun of it without realizing they could easily be starring in it,” one viewer wrote.

So, is Team Moms: Baseball exposing youth sports culture — or making the problem worse?

The series premieres September 24 on Paramount+.
