It seems Travis Kelce is still very much living in the glow of his wedding to Taylor Swift.
Weeks after first calling the couple’s wedding the “best night of my life,” the Kansas City Chiefs star has opened up about the celebration again.
This time, his words reveal even more about just how deeply the night affected him.
In a preview of his upcoming ESPN interview with Chris Berman, Kelce, 36, can’t stop gushing over his nuptials.
“It was the best night of my life. Marrying Taylor was more than I could have ever dreamed it to be because of all the people that showed up and, and, and the amount of, you know, love that was in the air,” the 14-time Grammy winner’s husband said.
The emotional reflection came during a sit-down with Berman and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes ahead of Kansas City’s season opener. The full interview is scheduled to air September 14.
What makes the latest comment stand out is that the Eras Tour superstar’s partner has already made it clear that the wedding remains one of the defining moments of his year.
When reporters asked him about the wedding at Chiefs training camp in August, he gave a much shorter answer, calling it the “best night of my life.”
Now, he has gone a step further. In addition to simply celebrating the wedding itself, Kelce emphasized the people who surrounded him and Swift and the overwhelming feeling of love in the venue.
