Benny Blanco shares how he and Selena Gomez overcome major marriage obstacle

Benny Blanco is willing to do anything for his wife Selena Gomez, including embarking on a seven-day voyage from America to Europe to see her.

In a new collaboration with Instagram page Life on Film, which hands out disposable cameras to strangers to capture unfiltered moments from their life, the music producer documented his journey across the Atlantic Ocean to meet his wife, who is currently overseas to film season 6 of Only Murders in the Building.

Blanco, 38, began by naming Gomez, 34, the person he "loves most in the world,” calling her his “best friend.”

When asked how often the couple — who tied the knot in September 2025 — get to spend time together, Blanco replied, “Usually, it’s all the time.”

But given the Emmy-nominee’s recent work commitments, one major hurdle has reared its head: Blanco’s fear of flying.

“I’m deathly afraid of flying,” Blanco explained. “She’s in Europe, I’m stuck in New York. I’m actually taking a boat tomorrow for seven days to see her. It’s insane. But I don’t know, that’s what you do for love.”

As clips from his journey and eventual reunion with Gomez played on-screen, Blanco revealed the qualities he loves most about his wife.

“She sees the best in people,” he gushed. “She is the type of person who will be walking down the street and stop and talk to an old lady for 45 minutes and keep up with her for years and be friends. She just loves me no matter what — no matter what I do. Her heart. Her smile. They’re all beautiful. She’s my everything.”

In the comments section of the post, Blanco noted, “The word “love” is an understatement for how i feel about her.”
