Macklemore receives a good news after longtime friend Ed Sheeran dropped him from his Loop Tour in the wake of his brave stance.

While the American rapper won’t be appearing alongside the Perfect singer due to Robert Kraft’s ultimatum, a more welcoming concert offer has been landed to him.

Abdullah Hammoud, Mayor of Dearborn, city in Michigan, posted a sweet message for the Grammy winner, writing, “Hey @macklemore, if they don't want you performing in their stadiums, you're always welcome in Dearborn.”

He continued, “Come put on a show here. We'll make it a free concert, sponsored by the City, and help make it one of the best around.”

“We stand with you and for a free Palestine,” the Mayor added before concluding, “Let's make it happen.”

Hammound’s public post came hours after Macklmore, whose real name is Benjamin Hammond Haggerty, explained via a 12-slide carousel that what led to his exit from the Loop Tour.

He claimed that the Gillette Stadium owner forced Sheeran to leave him behind if he wants to continue to perform in the major venues.

The situation stems from a September 4 performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where the 43-year-old singer-songwriter was serving as the opening act. During his set, he repeatedly chanted "Free Palestine" and performed, Hind's Hall.

Notably, Kraft also confirms Macklemore’s claim that the billionaire urged Sheeran’s team to oust the rapper from the tour.

“Gillette Stadium has a longstanding commitment to providing a welcoming environment for all guests and ensuring that events held at our venue do not provide a platform for hate speech. Based on Macklemore’s recent actions, material shared from the stage during Ed Sheeran’s shows in New Jersey… we believe has been deeply offensive and hurtful to the Jewish community,” he stated.

After addressing several sensitive topics, he concluded, saying “I would welcome the opportunity to sit down with Macklemore and discuss the facts, because ultimately our goal is the same—peace for all people, an end to suffering, and an end to all hate.”
