Louis Tomlinson reveals he skipped a 1D hit during anniversary celebration

Louis Tomlinson listened to almost every One Direction song for the band’s 16th anniversary, except for the one hit.

During an appearance on The Smallzy Show on Tuesday, September 15, the Lemonade hitmaker looked back on the very One Direction-heavy day he spent celebrating new milestone in July.

And he wasn't kidding when he said he went all in, the X Factor alum decided to revisit the band's music and ended up posting a slew of Instagram Stories, offering his commentary with each song he listened that day.

“I think that's the most I've ever posted on social media in one day ever,” he admitted.

The 34-year-old musician revealed that he actually listened to almost the entire One Direction catalog from top to bottom, with his band and the people he worked with forced (lovingly, presumably) to join the four-hour 1D listening session.

“Literally all day, band, everyone I worked with, they had to listen to One Direction for like four hours straight,” he said.

However there was one song Louis wasn't interested in revisiting: What Makes You Beautiful.

“I think the only song I didn't listen to is What Makes You Beautiful, only because I've heard it so many times,” he explained.

So while Louis was busy rediscovering forgotten tracks and reliving the band's catalog, One Direction's enormous debut hit apparently didn't make the anniversary playlist.
