Katie Price, Lee Andrews admit they still love each other despite split

Katie Price has opened up about her heartbreak following her split from her husband, Lee Andrews, for the first time on Wednesday.

Their marriage lasted for less than a year after Katie discovered that 'he had just £2.22 in his account despite claiming to be a millionaire'.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday, Katie told hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls: 'I feel embarrassed because I feel he scammed my heart.

'After hearing the lengthy voice note, Katie said: 'It is exhausting yet I love him, but who is he? I love the man I met, but I just can't take it. I'm not stupid, you know. I've been stupid.'

At the beginning of the segment, they also played Lee's voice note from prison as he admitted: 'Divorce is for the best.' As far as filing divorce, I think that's probably the best thing for it... I love Kate and always will.'

Lee had claimed he had $50million in a cryptocurrency account, but Katie recently found out he had just $3 (£2.22).

She added: 'He hasn't scammed me for money, but I feel he has scammed me in because he fabricated a person that doesn't exist.'

Revealing what her family think of the situation she added: 'They said, "Well, it's your own fault. We have told you," and they're right.'

Lee is currently thought to be in the notorious Al Awir jail in Dubai, where he was returned in July, having only been released the month before.
