Princess Kate put her sporty side on full display in a fun competition with Prince William during their visit to the Isle of Bute.

The future King and Queen have taken part in a game played in the Scottish Highlands.

Rebecca English shared a video showcasing, "The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay enjoy trying their hand at Shinty on the Isle of Bute today."

William and Kate missed a couple of shots initially, but later they 'smashed' it.

Fans are in awe of the royal couple for being in 'their own element' and enjoying some fun time with each other.

"What fun! This is the Royals I come here to see," one well-wisher wrote on Instagram.

Another penned, "Love them! So positive and fun!"
