McLeod's Daughters reboot finally confirmed after 17 years of waiting

McLeod’s Daughters is coming back to TV, giving fans a chance to see the much loved Australian show again after 17 years.

The news was shared at the Nine 2027 Upfronts in Sydney, where the network announced that a new series is being made.

The reboot will be shown on Stan and is expected to arrive next year.

The new cast has not been announced yet. However, fans are hoping Bridie Carter and Lisa Chappell will return as sisters Tess and Claire, the two women who became a big part of the original show.

Carter already gave fans some clues about the return. Last year, she told her followers that she was going to meet someone and said the news would make them “flip your lids.”

The original show ended in 2009 after eight seasons and 224 episodes.

It was about a group of women living and working at Drover’s Run, a cattle station in South Australia.

McLeod’s Daughters became a huge hit after it first aired in 2001. It later won eight Logie Awards and became one of Nine’s best known shows.

There were talk of bringing the series back before, but nothing happened. Now, the story of Drover’s Run is finally getting another chance.
