Lily Allen throws shade at David Harbour after response to 'West End Girl'

Lily Allen called out her ex-husband David Harbour for his comments on her album, West End Girl, which explores the end of their marriage.

The Stranger Things actor, 51, said in an interview that he respects her right to create the art that she wants, about her experiences, but also that he did not have the same experience of their marriage.

Responding to his comments, in her interview with The Cut, the British musician said, “I think that was a generous thing for him to say. He’s having a real moment of success as well, right? He’s been nominated for an Emmy, and it’s great. We’re all doing our own thing, and we’re all doing what we’re supposed to do. If there’s one thing I know about David Harbour, it’s that he’s an excellent actor.”

Fans flocked to the comments and supported Allen's response, writing, "'He’s an excellent actor' was shade btw," and "oop the shade-"

Another added, "he was a bu--hurt manbaby and she still handled it so well," and "That was a perfect response," chimed in a third.

Meanwhile more wrote, "Im 100% with lily Allen in this one," and "clocked," as well as "I’ve ignored most of their drama but baby the shade with that 'excellent actor' line oooh i have to give her her 10s."
